These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://visualtextbook.com and the educational content, interactive tools and other services made available through it (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. Purpose of VisualTextbook

VisualTextbook provides digital educational material designed to help students understand school subjects through written explanations, diagrams, visualisations, examples, quizzes, practice questions and interactive learning experiences.

The Platform is intended to supplement learning and self-study.

VisualTextbook is not a school, examination authority, government body or official textbook publisher unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. Eligibility and Use by Minors

VisualTextbook may be used by school students, including users under the age of 18.

If you are under 18, you should use the Platform with the knowledge and supervision of a parent, guardian or teacher where appropriate.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to review these Terms and our Privacy Policy when allowing a minor to use the Platform.

Most public educational content can be accessed without creating a student account.

3. Permission to Use the Platform

Subject to these Terms, VisualTextbook grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Platform for personal and educational purposes.

You may use VisualTextbook to:

• introduce malware, malicious scripts or harmful code;

• encourage or assist another person to do any of the above.

Ordinary indexing by legitimate search engines in accordance with our publicly declared crawling rules is not prohibited by this section.

5. Educational Content and Accuracy

We work to make VisualTextbook's educational material accurate, clear and useful.

However, educational content may occasionally contain mistakes, omissions, outdated information, formatting problems or technical errors.

The Platform is provided as a learning aid and should not be treated as the sole authoritative source for academic, professional or other high-stakes decisions.

Students should use appropriate official materials, teachers and educational institutions where confirmation is important.

We may correct, update, reorganise, replace or remove educational material at any time.

6. Quizzes, Practice Questions and Interactive Features

Quizzes, practice problems, diagrams, simulations and interactive features are provided for learning and self-assessment.

Results generated by these tools are not official academic results, grades, certifications or qualifications.

Third-party names, trademarks, textbooks, educational board names and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Feedback and Communications

If you send us questions, corrections, suggestions or other feedback, we may use that feedback to improve VisualTextbook.

You retain ownership of any original material you provide to us.

By voluntarily submitting feedback or suggestions, you permit us to use the substance of that feedback to operate and improve the Platform without an obligation to compensate you.

Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices.

We do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability, security or practices of third-party websites merely because they are linked from VisualTextbook.

A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement.

10. Availability of the Platform

We aim to keep VisualTextbook reliable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

The Platform may occasionally be unavailable because of:

14. No Paid-Service Terms Yet

If VisualTextbook introduces subscriptions, paid courses, products or other paid services in the future, additional pricing, payment, cancellation and refund terms may apply.

Those terms will be disclosed before a user completes a relevant purchase.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VisualTextbook is provided on an “as available” basis.

While we take reasonable steps to provide a useful and secure educational service, we do not guarantee that:

• all content will always be completely accurate or error-free;
• every feature will always be available;
• the Platform will operate without interruption;
• every device or browser will support every interactive feature; or
• use of the Platform will produce a particular academic result.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees or statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VisualTextbook will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform.

This includes loss arising from reliance on educational content where independent verification would reasonably have been appropriate.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any liability imposed under applicable consumer-protection law.

17. Responsibility for Misuse

You are responsible for your use of the Platform and for complying with these Terms and applicable law.

If your deliberate unlawful or unauthorised use of VisualTextbook causes us direct loss, legal liability or reasonable enforcement costs, you may be responsible for those losses to the extent permitted by applicable law.

This provision does not limit rights available to consumers or minors under applicable law.

18. Suspension or Restriction of Access

We may restrict or block access where reasonably necessary to:

• prevent abuse or attacks;
• protect the security of the Platform;
• enforce these Terms;
• comply with legal obligations; or
• protect VisualTextbook or other users.

Where appropriate and technically feasible, access may be restored after the relevant issue has been resolved.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from using another dispute-resolution mechanism where mutually agreed or required by law.

We may update these Terms as VisualTextbook evolves or when legal or operational requirements change.

The date shown at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.

If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.

Continued use of the Platform after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

23. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later.
